BioFlex Laser

BioFlex Laser

Bioflex laser therapy uses laser diodes to treat diseased or damaged tissue with photons. These particles of energy are absorbed by cell membranes and intracellular molecules resulting in a cascade of physiological reactions leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function.

The process is curative and results in the elimination of pain, swelling, and scar tissue formation. Bioflex laser therapy does not cut or heat tissue unlike high intensity lasers found in dental or surgical settings. The therapy is safe and has no side effects.

The technology is highly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, arthritis, and sports injuries.

Some of the physiological effects of laser therapy include:

  • Increased production and release of
  • Endorphins (natural analgesic)
  • Growth hormone (instrumental in tissue repair)
  • ATP (improves and regulates cellular health)
  • Cortisol (precursor of cortisone)

In addition there is

  • Increased venous and lymphatic flow
  • Increased protein synthesis (collagen, DNA, fibroblasts)
  • Increased immune response

Some of the clinical benefits of laser therapy are:

  • Decreased pain
  • Effective for many conditions
  • Restore normal range of motion
  • Non-invasive
  • Non-toxic
  • No drug interactions
  • Often makes surgical intervention unnecessary

We have treated many patients over the years with laser therapy for a various musculoskeletal conditions, soft tissue injuries, and degenerative joint and muscle conditions. Some of the conditions we treat are:

  • Ligament, tendon, and muscle tears
  • Knee injuries
  • Rotator cuff injuries
  • Tennis/golfers elbow
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Tendonitis
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Degenerative arthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Disc herniations
  • Reflex sympathetic syndrome
  • Neuropathies
  • TMJ
  • Gout
  • Fibromyalgia
